All of our products are baked fresh. Choose from a variety of breads including white, multi-grain, sour dough, ryes, and baguettes. Our butter croissants will melt in your mouth and are available in a variety of flavours. All our European cakes and pastries are baked in the European tradition.

European countries are renowned for their delicious specialties. Flour Child Bakery uses recipes the way Mama used to make, or Nonna, Nonni, Gigi, Matka or Majka! Made from scratch, using the finest ingredients and timeless recipes handed down from generation to generation, our products will make you feel like you are on the continent.

Why do our croissants taste so good? It’s because of the butter. Butter makes up a quarter of a croissant’s ingredients. Our croissant dough is “laminated,” a delicate technique that alternates the folding of butter and dough to create layers. Made fresh daily they will melt in your mouth. Available in traditional butter, apple butter & almond, blueberry, raspberry, and chocolate. For a savoury treat, try our cheese, ham & cheese or spinach & feta croissants.

Cakes & Cupcakes

Cakes are special. They make a regular day better and make the end of a meal memorable. Every birthday, every celebration ends with something sweet, a cake, and people remember. We carry a wide range of cakes and we are happy to take orders in advance. We are known for our Black Forest, Dobos Torta, German Chocolate, Lemon Meringue, Raspberry Crème, Chestnut, Kremes, Mille-Feuille, Tiramisu, and Assorted Slices.

Breads, Rolls, Buns

Our Bread Wall is restocked with freshly baked daily. If you are in need, we have you covered. Place an order and we will have available for pickup on the following day. We work hard to keep our customers supplied. Dark and Light Rye, Sourdough, Sourdough Multigrain Rye, Sunflower Flaxseed, 100% Whole Wheat, Multigrain Oatmeal, Multigrain Sesame, Plain White, Honey Cracked Wheat, Rustic White, and Egg Bread. We also carry Cheese Bread, Feta & Oregano Bread, Tomato, Feta & Basil Bread, Dinners Rolls, Kaisers, and Hamburger Buns in both White and Multi-grain.

Hors d’oeurvres & Pastries

Sausage Rolls are available fresh every morning. Select from our different varieties including English Traditional, Jalapeno, Sauerkraut or Caramelized Apple and Onion!

Sweet treats include Rice Pudding, Eccles Cakes, Shortbread-Puff Pastry Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Twist, Poppyseed and Walnut Rolls.


Who doesn’t love cookies? Flour Child Bakery is famous for our Empires. This sweet cookie filled with raspberry and topped with icing sugar is one of our signature cookies, but we have many varieties to choose from. Try our Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, and Hazelnut Meringues.


We make wonderful homemade pies. Our seasonal pies take advantage of fresh fruits. Summer pies, the cosy comfort of Mincemeat Pie in winter. Apple, Blueberry, Cherry, Coconut Cream, and Lemon Meringue Pie. Available in 8 or 10 inch sizes. We also make delicious Crisps available in Apple, Cherry, Blueberry, and Rhubarb when in season. While most people tend to think of apple strudel, strudels can be sweet or savoury. While seasonal fruits are popular fillings, some sweet strudels are fruit-free, filled instead with soft, sweetened cheese (quark), poppy seeds, or nuts. Our handmade strudel is available in Apple, Poppyseed & Walnut, Cheese, Cheese & Cherry,  and Apple Walnut with Poppyseed!
